Merry Christmas!
Wow! I can't believe that Christmas is almost here! I've been very busy working on my current projects, which include, cleaning, organizing, cooking, crocheting, translating, interpreting, serving in church callings, trying to keep up with my kids' school trips and parties and homework and whatnot... Whew! I'm tired just writing about all of this. I've also been going to be earlier than I used to, which has cut into my non-work-related computer time, but I've been getting up most days around 5am to get some quiet "me" time before the kids get up.
I have to avoid the computer during the early morning, or else that "me" time gets sucked into the time-vortex and disappears WAY too quickly! I've actually found that I can take 15 minutes in each of the rooms (living room, dining room, and kitchen) and make a lot of headway towards keeping the mess under control. This morning I slept in until 6:45 and didn't get that done, and the mess has somehow taken over my dining room table, which was clean yesterday morning. I think I'll use one of my breaks from work today to get that cleared off so I can put my new runner on it that I got at our Relief Society Christmas dinner last night. I also got a door knob hanger with jingle bells on it, a pretty wall hanging with Santa's sleigh and reindeer on it, and a fleece scarf... which I'm sure will be claimed by one of my daughters as soon as they see it! It was a lot of fun, even if I didn't get home until almost 10pm! (That's why I "slept in" this morning... lol)
Well, back to work now... y'all need to make comments on here so that it will send me messages and remind me to blog more often! ;)
Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year... and don't forget what the Season is REALLY about. Celebrate the birth of our Savior and enjoy each moment you have with your family!
