... if I ever got around to joining... :-P

Well, it's been almost 2 months since I last wrote something... Back then I was feeling so ill... and then the the baby was throwing up, so we ended up in the ER... Ear infections and viruses for DS and DD3 (who started vomiting about 1/2 hr after we got to the hospital... good thing we took her with us instead of leaving her with my uncle and the other girls!) and a whopping round of Mastitis for me! Now I know how Uncle David's poor old cows felt! OUCH!!! Well, a round or two of antibiotics later, and everyone is fairly healthy for the time being. (knock on wood!)

I took the older 2 girls to the doc to talk about their tonsils. DD1 has had confirmed Strep 5 times in the last year, and missed a LOT of school because of it. DD2 only had 3 confirmed cases, but the big thing with her is that when she has strep, her throat doesn't hurt! In fact at the doc's office, they did a rapid strep which was negative, but then the culture the next day was positive, so we had to do ANOTHER round of Amoxicillin. (At least they like the taste of it...) DD2 has an appt with the ENT specialist for July 10th, not so much for the Strep, but because she also snores quite a lot. (We are suspecting that she may be a carrier of the Strep which may explain why she tests positive even when her throat doesn't hurt.) We'll see if she ends up needing her tonsils out or not... i'm not sure if I'm hoping for or against at this point!

Well... lost my concentration and train of thought derailed, so I'm going to call this post good enough.
